The ideal traveling time during pregnancy is from 14 to 28 weeks.
Though keeping a good mood matters a lot during the trip, you should take some necessary measures to stay away from any potential risk. Here, we provide you with professional tips to assure you a smooth and unforgettable traveling experience.

1. If possible, do not travel alone. It is better to have someone to take care of you.

2. Make sure your doctor knows when you are going, where, and for how long. Consult him/her about how to keep healthy, what special aspects should be paid extra attention to, and how to handle sudden birth of a baby.

3. Pack necessities according to the weather and culture of your destination.

4. Make a scheduled arrangement to deal with any suddenness. Check medical facilities at your destination. Don't forget to bring medical reports and make sure you have all the contact information in the event of abrupt delivery.

5. Prepare some entertainments that will benefit you and your baby such as soothing music, chanting, and prayers.

6. Take some healthy snacks and food (home-made is the best) to ensure nutrition and reduce discomfort during the trip. Time zone is different around the world. Several small meals will help you conquer dietary discomfort caused by time difference.

7. Don't inject any vaccination that might hurt your baby.

8. Wear maternity clothes or loose clothes to make yourself feel comfortable.

1. Traveling by car

2. Traveling by bus

Require a special seat for pregnancy. Don't sit in the front row or take a seat above the wheels because you may fall down or experience troublesome jolt when the vehicle has sudden movement.

Put your luggage under your feet. You can have a rest or do a little exercise with it.

3. Take larger airplanes because they can keep almost the same air pressure as on the land. If impossible, make sure that the altitude of flying is no more than 7,000 feet.

4. Chew gum or open your mouth wide to reduce ear pain when the plane takes off or lands.

5. Bulkhead seats provide more space to stretch your legs; seats near the restroom are convenient for frequent toilet visits and middle seats offer you smoothness. Select the proper seat according to your actual needs. If necessary, you can ask your doctor for advice.

6. Don't fasten seatbelt across your stomach. The best way is to fasten it around your hips and under your belly.

7. It is good to do some exercise. But remember to hold seat backs when you stand up because there may be turbulence on the plane.

8. Drink enough water or juice to resist dehydration.
Avoid having coffee, tea, and the like because they have a bad impact on you and your baby.

9. If you have special medical conditions such as blood clots and feel difficult to breathe on the plane, require supplementary oxygen.
