Is it safe to leave my luggage at railway stations in Geelong city?

There are lots of lockers available at railway stations, these lockers are mainly prepared for small pieces of luggage.
Also limited cloakroom space is available at Geelong station for luggage storage, especially for large pieces such as sporting equipment and wheelchairs. To store items in the cloakroom, passengers must pay $2.6 per item per day and will be issued with a separate ticket for each item. To retrieve an item, travelers must present their ticket at the cloakroom. Staff will ask for a description of the item.

If a passenger needs to access an item from the cloakroom, the ticket must be handed in and another ticket issued. Passengers who lose their ticket must sign a declaration giving a description of the item.

Your luggage left there will be safe enough. However, travelers should pay attention that they do not take any responsibility for any loss or damage of your luggage. You had better not leave anything valuable there.
