Tote bags usually have straps or handles for easy carry. Some have longer shoulder straps for you to carry with more ease.
One tip is that if you plan to carry a lot of items, especially heavy ones, it will be useful to pick up a bag that has strong handles with strengthened stitching. Handles that are attached with an extra piece of material inside the bag tend to be much sturdier.
