It is quite necessary to understand because that may ruin your desired trip.

Terms on Lost/ Stolen Airline Tickets
What if your tickets are lost or stolen? What related condition terms have been presented on/with your airline tickets? Have you noticed them? Your refunds may be difficult to obtain because of the terms on the tickets. So it is important to know who you can look for help and probably get your refund from. According to the airline contract terms, some of the issuing airlines provide the service of replacing tickets or refunding, while some of them won't reimburse you for lost or stolen tickets. So check the condition and contract carefully.

What are the restricted refunds then if you want to return or change your tickets? What are the imposed monetary penalties? Have you noticed about these? Did you realize it is necessary and always late just when you need to care about the above issues?
Airlines provide a notice on/with your tickets to address its contract terms to clear the rules, so you'd better check this in advance in case any lost. Sometimes the price of tickets may also change. Airlines also provide a written notice asking for the permission towards the raise of tickets price after you've booked the tickets, which is also overlooked by some passengers. Of course, if the airline has not offered the notice about this permission, you are not going to be bound by this rule.

Remember that you have the right to know all the terms of your contract of carriage. Still, it is wise to read all the terms and conditions carefully for your own sake.
