These carry-on uprights usually come with a large main compartment, which has book-style opening and expands 2" to 2.5" for additional storage capacity when needed. Inside these bags, you'll find a wide array of useful features, such as zippered mesh pockets, clothing hold-down straps, and shoe pockets. The foam structure is low-weight yet tough enough to offer good protection to your belongings. The expandable main compartment comes with book style opening for easy access. The large middle compartment has a padded sleeve to protect a notebook computer up to 17 inches. And the zippered front accessory pocket has a mesh pocket inside for airline tickets. Its wheels come with corner protectors for long-term use, and the molded-PVC corner guards prevent abrasion.

The list price of this upright is $320 on the official website, and you can find it at around $125 to $210 from online retailers.

High Sierra ATQ Carry-on Wheeled Computer Upright
Made of Duraweave, this next-generation bag has a large capacity of 3420 cu. in. yet weighs just 8 lbs. It lets you pack all the gear your travels require, yet is small enough to lift and stow. The separate compartment has a padded sleeve for a notebook with up to 17" screen (fits laptops 18" x 12" x 2"). It also has many considerate features for entertainment and business use, such as the two pockets - the upper front pocket is sized for an MP3 player, and has an integrated headphone port, while the lower front pocket comes with a business organizer, including pen pockets, PDA pocket, cell phone pocket, key fob and more.

The suggested price on the official website is $260, and many online retailers are offering it at about $100 to $150.

High Sierra AT3 Sierra-Lite Expandable Carry-On Wheeled Upright
This spacious upright measures 21"x13.5"x9" (2424 cubic inches' capacity) and weighs 9 lbs. It features Duralite Tech Weave and 900-Denier Duralite exterior fabric for added durability. Heavy duty ergonomic zipper pulls makes it easy to open and close. The adjustable tow strap enables you to attach additional bags to it. And the removable, fold-out garment cover keeps your clothes wrinkle-free. Plus, its large front pocket is nice for magazines, and comes with zippered pockets, pen pockets, PDA pocket and key fob.
