What can we do with waist packs? They can be carried on to hold a lot of daily necessities, such as the sunglasses, purses, cards, and handkerchief, etc.
A waist pack can also be used as a purse, camera bag or a small holding pocket.

The following are the features in a good waist pack:
1. Strong materials

As waist packs are used to hold a lot of daily necessities, it must be made of strong and anti-tear materials like cordura, ripstop nylon or nylon pack cloth. When choosing a waist pack, you should check the easy-to-wear-out areas like the pack bottom to make sure these parts are reinforced with a strong material. A good backstitching or bar tacking in high-stress areas of your backpack is an indicator of good backpack. When you check the shoulder straps, choose the straps that can be bended and curved without creasing.

2. Proper size

The size of your waist pack determines the way to carry it. You can place your waist pack in front of you for easy access, or simply place it at your back to achiever higher mobility. And a large load design virtually means you can carry more. Waist packs always have a large opening or openings at the top. The smaller ones can be stored in your backpack that you bring with when the waist packs are not needed. Choose the water-resistant design that has zippers sealing the opening, and buy the waist pack with a checklist of all the items that you usually carry.

4. Straps and padding

A padded belt in a waist pack can free your muscles. Before you buy it, check the bag's waist straps to make sure they are padded. The one that fits properly to support a load without sagging is a good choice. If you have straight or narrow hips, you could choose a standard hip belt. A women's-specific model is recommended for wider hips.

5. Lock and zippers

The zipper must be installed with rows of lock-stitch sewing, with reinforcement measures. The larger teeth do not easily broken and can withstand tough use. The larger the zipper, the stronger and better it will be. However, these larger teeth should be made of strong and long-lasting materials, such as plastic or metal. Finally, try to look for a zipper with a fabric separation from the frame, which keeps the zipper from getting caught on things.
