Frame materials - Three kinds of materials are commonly used for sunglass frames: plastic, metal and nylon. Plastic ones, the most common choice, have no special advantages or uncomfortable effects. With the same strength as plastic ones, metal is more popular. Nylon is the most flexible and lightest material for making sunglasses.

Lens color - The standard colors of sunglass lenses are brown, green and grey. Lenses in blue and purple look stylish, but they don't have medical use. Rose colored lenses are good for moderate-to-low level light condition.
