What are the proper procedures to clean nylon satchels?

Nylon bags are much cool and funky when compared with other types of bags, such as leather bags, evening bags and clutch bags etc.
Nylon satchels are popular among young people because of the unique chic design and bright colors as red and maroon. But the maintenance of nylon satchels is not easy, esp. the cleaning. Take it easy! Follow the tips below and clean nylon satchels properly.

Step 1 Clean the surface everyday.

The best method to clean a nylon satchel is to prevent the bags from any dirt. You can spray cleanser to the surface of the satchel after use every day. Then wipe out the detergent with clean soft cloth. If you have no spray cleanser, get a bottle of DIY solution. Just pull some soapy water into an empty perfume bottle.

Step 2 Rinse the bag with clean water.

When the bag is too dirty and needs cleaning, just rinse the bag with clean water. Remember not to grub the surface with any chemicals or detergents, which shall do harm to the bag.

Step 3 Apply diluted Formalin solution to the metallic chains and zippers

Many nylon satchels are designed with metallic chains and zippers. Pay special attention to them. Improper cleaning can get them rusty. Apply the diluted Formalin solution to them to prevent them from rust.

Step 4 Dry the bag in a well-ventilated place

Nylon bags can not be put directly in the sunshine, which can cause color fading to the satchel. Put the bag in a cool location to dry it naturally. You can fill in the bag with non-spongy items to prevent the distortion of the bag.
