How to remove the nail polish from fabric

If you accidently get nail polish on fabric items, like clothes, tablecloths and bed sheets, what do you do usually to get rid of the stains?
Just scrubbing may not remove the nail polish completely, especially for cotton and nylon fabrics. There are a few smart and effective methods to remove nail polish from fabric:

1. If the stains are new, wet them with water. Mix a few drops of shampoo and alcohol together and apply this mixture on to stains. Rub them gently with a small toothbrush. Never directly use nail polish remover as it may ruin the construction of your fabrics.

2. Put the fabric item into warm water, and leave it there for 5 minutes. Scrub the stains with mild and natural soap which is indeed safe for any type of fabric(you can get the soap in baby goods stores). Then rinse the soap lather completely. You will find the nail polish stains have gone.

There is a much easier way to remove the nail polish from fabric - banana oil. You just need to sponge the stains with banana oil. This method is safe and effective to both old and new stains. Banana oil is safe to any fabric.
