How to make long flights more enjoyable?

The biggest headache for airline travelers is the tiring long flight, such as 12 hours long flights, which usually involve different time zones and sleeping patterns.
But proper preparations can make long flights more comfortable, more enjoyable and less stressful.

Make preparations in advance

Prepare for your long flights ahead of time. List all things you need to bring, such as books, iPod, and some other comfortable apparel you need. Assure not to forget anything you should put on your list.

Prevent jet lag

Long flights are more likely to cause jet lag. Try to avoid jet lag if possible. Get enough sleep before your flight and gradually adjust your body clock to keep away from the nasty jet lag. Drink enough water on flights to keep yourself hydrated. Entertain yourself to get rid of fatigue and boredom during travels.
