How to survive an airplane crash?

Having heard so many horrible stories about airplane crashes, you might wonder whether there are any things you can do to reduce the risk of death when plane crash happens.
Actually, what you wear, where you sit and what you are doing aboard when accident occurs would affect the chances of surviving. Tips to keep in mind to increase chances of surviving a plane crash are as following.

Dress appropriately

In case of a plane crash, put on long pants as well as long-sleeve shirts, sturdy and comfortable shoes as possible. Well fit and durable shoes without heels could not only keep your feet safe but help you move quickly within the wreckage. Long pants and long-sleeve shirts would prevent your arms and legs from scratch.

Always bring a coat or jacket with you as you would need to stay warm when surviving a crash. Avoid loose clothing since it might be snagged on obstacles.

Choose the right seat

Chance of surviving is somewhat determined by how quickly you can get out of the airplane. As a result, sitting in the tail of the airplane or close to an exit is preferable. It's recommended to choose these seats to maximize the chances of surviving in the event of a crash.

Other protections

Remember to fasten your seat belt and keep it fastened all the time. Plus, try to push the seat belt over your pelvis since it's stronger than other parts of the body and could handle force in the crash.

Put you luggage under the seat if possible for it might act as a cushion in a crash.
