How to clean leather sandals?

Leather sandals are always a hot trend because they are fashionable and feel good.
Stylish design and comfortable skin make them a must have for summer. However, these leather sandals will develop smelly foot and stains, which make your sandals dingy and stinky. Fortunately, they are not difficult to clean.

Clean Leather Vamp

1) Use a cloth to wipe off the dirt and dust on the surface of the leather vamp of your sandals.

2) Get a clean cloth and wet it with water. Put a mild amount of soap on the cloth. Plus: Common soaps for cleaning leather sandals include: hand soap, moisturizing body soap, saddle soap and mild liquid detergent.

3) Knead the cloth to produce lather. Scrub your sandals with the cloth covered with lather.

4) Wet another clean cloth and remove the soap lather gently. Dry the leather vamp with a towel.

Brush the Sole

1) Mix mild liquid detergent like hand-washing liquid with warm water. Dip a soft brush into the soap mixture and brush every party of the sole of your sandals. Make sure not to scrub too hard.

2) Rinse the sole with warm water.

Get Rid of the Odor

1) Take one teaspoon of vinegar into one cup of warm water. Wet a cloth with the mixture and wipe the sandals. Vinegar will kill the bacteria and help to get rid of the order.

2) Clean the sandals with leather cleaner in accordance with the instructions. You can find leather cleaner in any grocery store or shoe store.

Considerations

1) After finish cleaning your sandals, place them outside and let them dry in the sun.

2) Apply leather conditioner to your sandals. Conditioning them will help prevent these sandals from drying out or cracking.
