How to remove pet hair from blankets?

Hair on your blankets from a loved pet like cat and dog is really a big headache, because it is a challenge to get rid of the hair out of your blanket.
Pet hair especially dog and cat hair sticks to everything including clothes and blankets. Following these tips, you can remove pet hair from your blankets.

1. Lint brush or roller - Take your blanket outside and hang it over a railing or lawn chair. Brush the blanket with a lint brush or roller that is commonly used for clothes. Lint brushes and rollers are effective in getting rid of pet hair.

2. Pet Hair Magnet - Pet Hair Magnet is consisted of a plastic handle and a rubber blade edge. Rub the rubber edge over the pet hair. It can remove even embedded hair. The Pet Hair Magnet can then be rinsed and used again.

3. Vacuum - Remove pet hair from the blanket by vacuuming on areas with pet fur. Vacuum with heavy-duty suction and a brushroll is a good option. It works well on fabric. You can spray blankets with a static spray before pulling out the vacuum, which will be easier for the vacuum to suck them up.

4. Rubber gloves - You are probably equipped with this low-tech solution. Wear a pair of disposable rubber gloves. (The ones to do housework are okay.) Wet the gloves and rub your hands over the blanket where the hair is. The wet pet hair will clump together and cling to the rubber gloves. Rinse the gloves and use again and again.
