Among all types of luggage cases, an upright is the one with the greatest capacity.
An expandable upright has the features, which are similar to an ordinary upright luggage case.
1. Size
You have many choices on the size of the expandable upright. That all depends on your own needs. Generally speaking, a large sized one is not necessary for your visiting trip, because it will be too heavy when being filled up with. Even though wheels are available, you have to exercise great efforts to draw it, and you may get crazy of dragging it on a rough road. Besides, the items in a large-size expandable upright may be totally out of order. In this case, you'd better take two smaller luggage cases instead.
A small sized expandable upright is recommended. You can pull out the extra storing bag or pocket when you need more space to keep your items.
2. Material
Being light and pressure resistant, ABS shell and polycarbonate become widely used material in the making of an expandable upright.
3. Others
When you are choosing an expandable upright, pay extra attention to the wheels. Try to roll the wheels and check whether they work smoothly. If there is a slightly uncomfortable feeling, it will become worse on your trip
