I. Learn about travel pillows
Where to lay your head in trips? Previously, the answer might be: nowhere or anywhere.
But now, you have an alternative: the travel pillows. With a comfortable travel pillow, you can say goodbye to bobbing heads and neck discomfort when traveling in car, train, or plane. 1. Inflatable air pillow
As the name suggests, inflatable air pillow has air filling up the whole pillow. This design can offer comfortable and occipital support for maximum head and neck comfort. Instead, you can carry it in your outside pocket of your backpack or traveling bags for easily access. Inflatable air pillow are made of washable, soft, suede-like materials. They are durable and can be washed by hands or washing machine.

2. Filled pillow
The fillings of the pillow are of a wide variety of options, including wool, natural latex, latex foam, cotton, primaloft, silk or down. The most blissful pillow is filled with eco-friendly fillings, which can effectively cradle your neck and head for a firm support. For example, the pure wool-filled pillows are soft, thick, warm, lightweight and long lasting. Another eco-friendly filled pillow is buckwheat pillow, which are filled with hulls, providing passive support and preventing any forceful feeling.

However, when choosing a filled pillow, be careful with those water-filled ones. Water used as filling can provide an immediate cool comfortable place to rest your head, but water pillows are virtually heavy and few would like to pack a bag of water in their luggage where weight and space are strictly restricted.

3. Children's travel pillow
If you are taking a trip with kids, how would you make them rested comfortably in the plane, the car or the train? Would you simply leave them sleep on the seat with a seat belt or an adult travel pillow? Actually, you have many solutions of kids'/children's travel pillows. 2. Ergonomic design
Before buying a travel pillow, try to blow it up or let it loose at store and test whether it fits your head. The best pillows take on ergonomic design which can offer excellent support molded to your head or body. Some inflatable pillows have more than one air chamber. They can be adjusted to fit any part of the body. Please remember, comfort is the first focus. For the filled pillows, shop for the adjustable and removable filling. These fillings can be moved or adjusted to achieve a better position. Some have zippered inner liner design, allowing you to adjust the fullness by removing some of the organic filling.

3. Washable
Your travel pillows will probably get dirty after several trips, and you may consider cleaning them. Choose a washable travel pillow, so you can always keep it clean.
Make sure the pillow has a removable, washable cover. You can also check the product information tag to make sure it is machine washable. Choose the pillow with a rear zipper, which allows cover to be removed for washing and easy care.
